In this panel discussion we explore to what extent art education prepares for or relates to the various forms of cooperation that occur in contemporary art and design practice. How to prepare for a practice of setting up an association with other artists to fight for the collective interests of the arts? How to create educational programs that train students to becoming artists who work together to invent new forms of political intervention and representation? Each panellist proposes a way of integrating a form of cooperation, each with its own political, artistic or professional motivation, into the art academy.
