At this time of the year, when the veil between worlds is thinnest and the dreamworld is calling us, we invite you to come and walk a waking dream, erasing with every step the arbitrary division between dream and day consciousness. We are invited to exfoliate and strip what cannot be digested and must go, so next spring we may emerge with renewed energy, clarity and heart for the visioning of multiple, liberated futures - an urgent need, and not an easy feat, in these times so full of global heartbreak. We can’t wait to walk, dream, eat and also celebrate with you on the 9th of November!
The festival of Halloween - or Samhein - is the moment between harvest and hibernation, it is a time of letting go as well as preserving what nourishes you. To celebrate Samhein we will be joining forces between Walking Bodies/Becoming Wavicles from Gerrit-Rietveld-Academie/Sandberg with guest space holder Erika Sprey and The Garden Project from the Academy of Theater and Dance Amsterdam. Erika researches different practices of collective dreaming, as an essential practice for societal change and being sensitive with a kindred, more-than-human world – having previously curated events such as Wxtch Craft and Earth Craft (KABK studium generale), that is morphing into Dream Craft, and ‘Collective Dream Weavers’ in the Stedelijk Museum as part of the Rietveld Studium Generale ‘23. We imagine this event as a green corridor between the gardening projects of both the Gerrit-Rietveld-Academy and the Academy for Theater and Dance.
Please rsvp until the sixth of November via this mail: email@example.com
We hope to see you there!
