Floor On Air is a soft invitation for moving bodies to meet in a temporally gravity. Allowing it, for a moment, to move freely within the concrete surfaces of the institution. Floor On Air will continually appear and disappear throughout the school year, inviting different bodies to host, to be hosted, to join, to gather and to move together.

“Over the past decade, movement research has become increasingly relevant for artists who want to work with as well as performers. Through the lens of physical and mental states, this workshop aims to give a taste of the different ways to empower artists by using feedback to explore, develop and refine movement in themselves and others.”
Topics: Physical states, Mental states, switching/staging States of Being on and off, methods for moving, acting and being within the body, discovering a personal locomotion as a movement vocabulary. How to rehearse states of being? How to harness ‘states’ for movement research? The performing body versus the spectators’ body? What tools can be used to research and apply movement?"
